Communication Tower

Introducing!

Matrix Hosting

A New Network for Secure Decentralized Communications

Our Core Beliefs:

  • We believe in privacy first

  • Big tech cannot be trusted

  • Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google, & Amazon are targeted by hackers daily

  • Decentralized, end-to-end encrypted solutions provide the answer

  • Only an open-source, fully auditable codebase can hold itself accountable to the people.

Matrix is an open standard for interoperable, decentralized, real-time communication over IP.

Users can direct message other users, participate in group chat, send files and photos, receive real-time alerts, and place secure encrypted voice and video calls.  All with the highest confidence that their communications are avoiding the prying eyes of big tech, while never running the risk of being de-platformed.

Matrix can also be bridged with existing platforms such as Microsoft, Teams, and Slack; however, the privacy and encryption are strongest when used in and by itself. This provides you with one single pane of glass, and one mobile app to communicate across all popular platforms.

Matrix supports data destruction allowing you to delete all traces of present and past conversations so as to prevent the past from haunting your future.

Matrix supports both iOS and Android mobile apps in addition to desktop applications.

What is Cloud Bunny's role?

Cloud Bunny installs the Matrix System on security hardened Free BSD Unix or Debian Linux server equipment in accordance with cybersecurity best practices.  We locate these servers outside of the United States offering options in Canada, Iceland, Switzerland, and Singapore.

Cloud Bunny does not have access to your data, messages, passwords, or private information due to the structure of the open Matrix protocol.

Who writes the Matrix Code?
The Matrix.org Foundation is a non-profit UK Community Interest Company, incorporated to act as the neutral guardian of the standard on behalf of the whole Matrix community. It is an open initiative that acts as a neutral and independent custodian of the Matrix standard.

How is Matrix.org funded?
Matrix.org is currently funded by the community, through a combination of community support (via Patreon, Liberapay, Bitcoin, and Ethereum), corporate sponsorship, and grant funding.

Create professional documents, spreadsheets and presentations on Ubuntu with LibreOffice, the open source office suite that’s compatible with Microsoft Office. That means you can open and edit files like Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and share them with other users quickly and easily. You can also use Google docs directly from your desktop.
